That raises the possibility — though somewhat remote — that WorldCom’s increasingly anticipated Chapter 11 petition could be filed in Atlanta’s federal bankruptcy court.
“Atlanta’s an option. We have an excellent judiciary here. It would be a great venue,” said E. Penn Nicholson, head of Washington-based Powell Goldstein Frazer & Murphy’s corporate bankruptcy practice in Atlanta
